Advice from NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) for business leaders

With the current war and escalating threats from Russia in Ukraine, there’s a good chance of increased cyber-attacks on infrastructure in Europe.

To protect yourself as well as your company, make sure you take preventative measures to improve your business security online.

The NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) have put together a quick guide on improving your business resilience with the cyber threat heightened.

The guidance encourages organisations to follow actionable steps that reduce the risk of falling victim to an attack. The article includes content on:

  • Balancing cyber risk and defence
  • Factors affecting an organisation’s cyber risk
  • Actions to take
  • Advanced actions

The NCSC has said that whilst “not aware of any current specific threats to UK organisations in relation to events in and around Ukraine, there has been an historical pattern of cyber-attacks on Ukraine with international consequences.”
