TechCare and Sitescapes – Website Design and Build

Specialising in new build site landscaping, showhome design and construction, tree surgery and grounds maintenance, Midlands based Sitescapes was established in 2002 and serves a broad range of areas throughout the midlands and sometimes further afield.

Now employing a team of over 30 staff, and providing design, landscape and maintenance services to some of the largest housebuilders in the region, the time had come for their existing website to be modernised and refreshed.

Sitescapes existing website was created around ten years ago. With ever-changing design and technological advancements, the site had begun to look dated and not as user-friendly as it could be.

The business approached TechCare to review the current set up and get advice on the best approach for designing and building a completely new website.

Karl met with the MD John to take a detailed brief, with the benefit of having worked with Sitescapes for many years, and the business knowledge this long-standing relationship brings.

A detailed quotation and breakdown on the website design and development process were then provided, to drastically improve the website’s look, interactivity and the user experience overall.

The project began by outlining a site map, understanding what content was needed, and gathering good quality assets from the client so the site design could look it’s very best. Advice on how to improve the sites search rankings was also presented.

Using a custom design in WordPress, the site was developed in line with modern standards, ensuring responsiveness across all major devices and platforms, with easy access for users searching for crucial information about the business.

As part of a continuing programme of works, TechCare has also mapped out an ongoing SEO strategy to improve the sites search rankings and give visibility to the brand and the website across the Staffordshire region.

The project has resulted in a slick, modern-looking website that’s easy to navigate and features interesting animation points and key content.

The website looks excellent and functions well in terms of usability, showcasing the businesses’ outstanding case studies, testimonials, and services, all presented well for all to see.
